Centre Management Committees
Initiative Overview
The Community Development Department invites volunteers to serve on Centre Management Committees for several community centres across Barbados. These committees provide members an opportunity to contribute to positive socio-economic changes in their communities. The committees review requests for the use of community centres, review proposals for programmes at the centres, facilitate extended centre use and more.

Eligibility (Basic Attributes)
The basic attributes for serving as committee volunteers include:
a desire to see positive socio-economic changes achieved within the community.
an extensive understanding of the community being served
Eligibility (skill Sets)
Should be able to demonstrate a credible awareness and operational knowledge of any of the following skill sets:
a desire to see positive socio-economic changes achieved within the community.
