Introducing Community Business Labs

YES’ Community Business seeks to meet the budding, new and seasoned entrepreneur where he or she is currently and equip and empower him or her with the skills, knowledge and abilities to start, grow and manage his or her own business.
This programme has been carefully curated to reach a wide cross section of young entrepreneurs of various backgrounds who are keen to level up their entrepreneurial game and to contribute to the enhancement of their communities.
The combination of classroom-type teaching modules and discussion mixed strategically with practical hands-on projects makes for an interesting and engaging programme that changes attitudes about business in general and gives participants the motivation to learn business concepts in a challenging and fun-filled atmosphere.
YES’ Community Business Labs are offered in two phases: Introduction/Exploration and Business Development.
Offering Community Business Labs throughout the island is expected to act as a catalyst for young persons to start, grow and manage their own businesses within their various communities redounding to the overall benefit of our beautiful island, Barbados.
