Community Health Action Management Programme

The Community Health Action Management Programme (CHAMP) is focused on getting persons at the community level involved in a health action programme which encourages them to take grater care and ownership of their health. It is hoped that this programme will have a serious impact on reducing the high level of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD’S) in our country. Data critical to this proposed intervention was gathered from informal interviews with members various communities, speeches and articles written by members of the health profession and by observing the number of obese persons, including children in our communities.

- To Increase the awareness of CNDC’s
- To Provide information on good nutritional (eating) habits
